TITANIC model by Matthew Smith

A word from Mat:

I started about seven months ago with rigging plan and small scale plans which i redraw up to 8 feet long because plans were good but a little out of scale.first i built the water line model of titanic i cut out of balsa wood was the lower deck then glued together forward and aft then the frames made out of 5 mm balsa shaped along the deck then put the shelter deck glued on top when dried put the shell plating along the hull which was a long job the stern i cut in small shapes it looked better then cutting it whole. then i added the poop and forecastle b decks on then i put the planking on then i pained it then i put a bridge decks on and all the other things on . it is 100% balsa wood the next on is a big 11 foot model of titanic hope this helps with some building details.
