Decking Decals by Bruce B.

Description by Bruce Beverage...

These deck planking decals measure about 8 1/2 X 6 a sheet. I feel that five sheets will do a whole Minicraft model. Four sheets if the modeler is very conservative. The decals show the correct spacing in 1/350th scale with a plank board at five inches by about twelve feet. To apply them the modeler will have to pre-measure and cut the pieces with a straight edge before applying to the plastic. The decals should be butted up when applied to the larger areas of the model. Do not splice these while on the plastic as the razor knife will scribe a line in the plastic! Proper setting solutions should be used to ensure good adhesion. I used Microscale micro-sol and micro-set for my prototype. The windows are from my window decal set. The prototype is rough so I didn't fill any of the holes or gaps. It is intended for showing the deck decals only. The decals are expensive to make as they use a complete piece of decal paper. The cost is $5.00 per 8 1/2 X 6 inch sheet.

decals are not colored. They are clear except for the deck lines. The color has to be painted first and then the clear lines decal is applied over the base color.
