Revell 1:1200 Scale Model
For the semi skilled modeler or older age

I think this is a funny model. The length is about 23 cm, and the detailing is great for a model at this size! Deck planking, windows, portholes, vents, winches, forecastle details, benches, lantern in the mast, crows nest and everything is there. The model itself can remind a bit of the bigger Revell 1/560, with only smaller and less parts. The decks, lifeboats, and many other parts are exactly like her big-sister, and they fit very good. The hull itself is one part, molded in black plastic, and have the exactly same shape as the 1/570 version. All other parts are white.

This is a very easy model to build because of the small number of parts, but painting it can be a really challenge, even for the more advanced modeler, since almost all details are molded on the decks, and they are very small. The portholes on the superstructure and windows on A-deck are just marked in the plastic, so the model will look much better if you paint these.

If you do a good paintjob, your're going love this great little model of one of the most beautiful ship ever.
