My name is Tony Squire. I am keen collector of Titanic memorabilia. I have been interested in the Titanic since watching the movie A Nigth To Remember, but my facsination with Titanic hit fever pitch when James Camerons movie was released. For a long time, I have always wanted a large scale model of the Titanic, so in 1998, I set about building the 1,350th scale you see. I am not a model builder, so this is the first time that I have ever done this. I would like to say a big thank you to my good friend Jonathan Smith, who also happens to have his Raise The Titanic model on this site too for all his help with the building of this model. I keep the model inside a large display cabinet so as to keep dust away along with some of my other Titanic collectibles. Happy sailing, and I hope you like my model.
