My big dream has been to have a Titanic model because I'v loved Titanic since I saw a National Geographic documentary, I bought a 1/550 model, but I wanted more. I discovered the Titanic Researh & Modeling Associatios and I realized that there was a model like I always wanted, I had the money to buy it, but the delivery cost to Mexico was so expensive, but then a miracle happened, a mexican page told me that they were able to sell one to me!

I bought the Minicraft Deluxe Edition, I began to build it on May 10, my first problem was "What color should the decks be painted?" it wasn't easy, I saw all the models in this page, so I could get an idea of the color, I decided to buy Flat Flesh Tamiya Color (XF15) so I prepared a formula like this "2 drops of white by 1 drop of white". Well the first problem was resolved. The windows were painted with a small piece of wood like a thin pencil. The second problem was the funnels color, I decided not to follow the instructions to prepare the White Star Buff, I bought the Orange Tamiya color (x6), so I mixed orange + yellow + white, the final color was the same as I had in mind. Puting the monofilament on the life boats was very, very dificult. I spent a lot of time doing that. Finaly my model was finished and is in the living room of my house, If you want to see more images of my model you can visit this page http://usuarios.tripod.es/SpiceCite/titanic/ there I have 25 images of the Minicraft model 1/350 and 5 from the Lodela Model 1/550.
