I started this Minicraft model in 1998 when I was 14. Now since I am 17, there are a few changes I would have liked to make since my knowledge about the liner has increased over the years. For the colours I used a lot of reference books like " Inside the Titanic" with paintings by Ken Marshall. A great book, which was very helpful. You can find it in the review section. The model instructions are very clear and lets the modeler decide on what things he or she would like to paint. One option was the yellow line that runs along C-deck. At the start I was going to leave this line out because I was beginner in painting, but later I decided to risk it all and put the line in. I also added the red warning notice on the stern because when I was modeling this area, I made a mistake with the connection of the two rails and realized that it was almost in the same area where the stern warning sign was placed. This is in the area immediately behind the flagpole. For the funnels I used an orange peachy sort colour. First I painted them a bright yellow but later changed it to a peachy colour. It also said in the instruction booklet that an option could be a peachy colour so that is how I ended up with the present funnel colour. I am very proud with the final result and my model now stands on the shelf with pride.

More photos are on the way...
