The following pages include a very interesting look at a model of the Titanic as she appears today. This model was built by using the 1/350 scale Titanic model. Heres a few words from its creator, Andy Lound...

"Built in 1986 the model started out as a complete model of Titanic and slowly broken up to separate into two sections.
The model is based on images from the National Geographic magazine December 1986 and data kindly supplied by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute.
The model was added to using etched plasticard and twisted sections were heated over a candle.
The model is mounted in a plaster of Paris base that was initially set in a sapling tray.
Additional detailing used N gauge fencing, parts of railway bridges, Panther V tank wheels and various odds and ends in my scrap box.
Model has been displayed at two libraries, Birmingham Central Library as part of the 'Titanic: the Birmingham Connection' exhibition in 1995 and at Tower Hill Library Birmingham in 1998."
