Photoetching is the process in which brass is 'etched' away leaving only
what is needed in a very fine detail. Usually to exact scale. Railings and
small objects are the best examples of this technique.
Resin parts are made of a liquid form that hardens in a mold. Usually
used for lifeboats and larger three dimensional objects
