This drawing shows the text found on the crane manufacturer's identification plate for Titanic. The reason that this particular plate is specific for Titanic is the date. I contacted Stothert and Pitt in Bath a couple of years ago inquiring about the date on their ID plates. I was told that the date indicates the delivery date. Titanic would have been fitting out in 1911 when her cranes were delivered. Olympic's cranes had "1910" as their date
