Photos of the 40ft long(1/20 scale) model used for the TITANIC movie
While the full size ship came together in Mexico, several smaller incarnations began to take shape in Los Angeles. Digital Domain's 1/20-scale model of the pristine ship is over forty-five feet long. Model makers dress up the interior space with furniture and curtains, as they are visible when the windows are lit at night.. Seeing the model in dry-dock, one is struck by how small the propellers look in relation to the ship as a whole.
