I first started model building at the age of seven, and did my first clipper ship at age 13. My father and grandfather were watchmakers so I became accustomed to small detail work early on. Being somewhat of a perfectionist helps too!
Am currently working on a 1:350 illuminated and "super-detailed" Titanic.

Why I like ocean liner models:

Miniaturizing such a floating palace is fascinating and challenging. No other type of model stimulates the imagination so much in the building process, and it brings the history alive.
