I was born in 1974 in Ogden, Utah. I have been building my 'superdetailed' 1/350th since May of 1998. I built my first complete 1/570th 'Titanic' for the first online model contest this site had. I am proud to say that I came in first place. I have been facinated with Titanic from the day I read about her discovery in National Geographic. Next on the list after the 1/350th is finished, is a 1/350th wrecked version and the Renault in the cargo hold as it would look today. Eventually the 1/144 will also command my attention.

Why I like ocean liner models:

I like the idea and luxury that the ocean liners offered, particularly the Olympic class ships. Titanic, of course, will always be my favorite and my focus. Titanic and the tragedy is what brought me to an interest in ocean liners.
