  About me:

Modelers image

I've allways had a deep interest in the Titanic as a kid, when reading about Ballard going to Woods Hole in a "Weekly Reader Magizine ", we used to get as 3rd and 4th graders, he mentioned hoping to one day find it.(71-72) After raising 5 boys , now 17-23, got back into Titanic when third son got the movie for my 38th b-day, fasinated by the model in the movie, had to make one of my own. After nearly losing that son in an accident, I sank that model and didnt recover it for a year, feeling cursed by Titanic by not modeling her properly, I'm here to try to do it right.

Why I like ocean liner models:

Never had a thought about building one, I was building model rockets and having fun setting them off, when the movie came out and changed all that. But after building my model it seems like this site is the only place to hang out at, because now I'm hooked.
