  About me:

Modelers image

Well, my story began when I was born, April 14th, 1984 (no fooling !) and eversince a young age, I have been interested in Oceanliners. Im told by my family members that I saw "The Posidon Adventure" when I was 5 and I was hooked on ships...While in 2nd Grade, my teacher let me read "Exploring the Titanic" and I was hooked...Everyone knew me as the kid who knew everything about the Titanic...I was asked by my teachers to even do a lesson for the class, showing my collection of Oceanliner memerabilla....remember this was years before the big "Titanic" movie...so I was the weirdo in the school..then in 1997 the Movie came out and everyone knew about the Titanic, I was out of a job...I was born in the wrong decade.... I find this era, sad and depressing (and the music of today stinks!) Give me the 20s, with Racoon Coats and the Charleston...30's and 40's Big Band anytime! Oh yeah, Al Jolson's Avalon and Paul Whiteman's "Home in Pasadena" are my fav songs, old Movies a!
nd old TV are a must for me...I do Love Lucy...but we always go back to out first love...the R.M.S. Titanic...

Why I like ocean liner models:

There is something about them, there far grander than jets...they are romatic, a jewel of the past, something that will, sadly never come again...we who build them are trying to see what it must have been like to build, sail and exist when they ruled the Oceans of the world, all points east and west....
