My name is Jason King and I live in Hertfordshire, England. I have been interested in the history of the Titanic for nearly 20years and I have built various models during this period. In 1997 I completed a 6ft waterline Titanic with lights which I always regarded as the best I could do. Several years later I felt I could make a better model. The urge never left me and I decided to convert my garage into a workshop. My model is a 1:100 scale scratchbuilt Titanic. It took me 18 months to complete. I used Hahn's plans for the scale and my vast book collection for detail, including information from this invaluable website. I am currently building both major sections of the wreck to the same scale with the intention of displaying them together when completed.
