Morten Jensen's Britannic Wreck model

The model is originally my previous Titanic-model, witch is about four years old. She had lost some parts after we moved, so I build a new model, and putted the old one on the side. A long time I wondered what to do with her. I thought about using the hull to build one of the old “NAL”-steamers (Norwegian-America-Line), building a Britannic as she appeared on the surface, but decided to make a different model from the other ones I have seen. Therefore I made a Britannic-wreck.

I ribbed her almost totally for parts, and ordered PE from Tom Nicolai. Most of the aft poop deck had to be scratch-build, and the old and new details were placed on the new decks. The “things” that grows on the whole ship is “grass-powder” I normally use on model railroad, witch was sprayed over with paint.

Some details are still remaining, like the wires on the masts and the forecastle railing.

I hope you like this different model. I haven’t seen any other Britannic-wreck yet, but hope some other will make one also.
